Mango Hill Pool Safety Inspections

Newer homes, compact blocks and pools built close to the boundary. Licensed pool safety inspections in Mango Hill for sales, leases and peace of mind.

Local Knowledge

Modern Estates, Tight Spaces

Mango Hill has grown quickly, with newer estates, two train stations and homes built close together. Many pools here sit in compact backyards where the house, the boundary fence and the pool barrier are all within a few metres of each other.

That makes the details matter. When a boundary fence or a wall of the house forms part of the pool barrier, extra rules apply to height, climbable features, and windows and doors. Air-conditioning units, hot water systems and bins along a narrow side path are also common finds too close to the fence.

What We Check

Common Issues in Mango Hill

Boundary Fence Barriers

Colorbond and timber boundary fences that form part of the pool barrier are checked for height, gaps and climbable rails.

House Walls & Windows

Where the house forms part of the barrier, windows and doors that open into the pool area are checked against the opening and locking requirements.

Glass & Aluminium Fencing

Gaps under and between panels, spigot movement and gate hardware are all measured, because a modern fence can still fail by a few millimetres.

Every Mango Hill Inspection Includes

Mango Hill FAQs

Your Questions Answered

Our home is only a few years old. Will the pool still pass?

Not always. A pool that complied when it was built can fall out of compliance as things change: a new garden bed, an AC unit installed beside the fence, or a gate that has dropped on its hinges. An inspection checks the barrier as it is today.

Can something on my neighbour's side of the fence cause a fail?

It can, where the boundary fence forms part of your pool barrier. Climbable objects on the outside of that fence can affect compliance. If that happens, we'll explain your options in plain English.

Is a reinspection free in Mango Hill?

Yes. Mango Hill is inside our free reinspection area, so if your pool gets a Form 26 nonconformity notice, one reinspection within the 3-month window is free once the listed items have been fixed.

I recently used Brisbane Pool Safety for a pool certification/compliance for an install that we did inside an existing pool fenced area. I found the advice and technical support to be great, and Niel's pragmatic approach to assist in ensuring the build was efficient at the same time compliant was excellent.
