Mandatory Emergency Guidance | ANZCOR Guideline 8 Compliant

Legislative Requirement

More Than
Just a Sign.

In Queensland, a compliant CPR sign is a legal pillar of pool safety. It must remain legible and visible at all times to provide immediate, life-saving guidance during an emergency.

ANZCOR Guideline 8

All new or replacement signs must follow the updated **30 compressions to 2 breaths** ratio and include clear "000" emergency instructions.

Dimensions

300mm x 300mm

Minimum legal size for visibility.

Durability

UV-Stabilised

Weatherproof polypropylene construction.

Correct Mounting & Placement

High Visibility

The sign must be attached to the pool fence or displayed near the pool so it is conspicuous to anyone in the area.

Eye-Level Rule

We recommend mounting the sign at a height of at least 1.2 metres to ensure it remains visible above furniture or garden beds.

Rescue Proximity

Position the sign near the shallow end or pool steps—the most likely location for a person to be retrieved from the water.
